Die Onkologie ist ein Teilgebiet der Medizin, das sich mit der Erforschung, Behandlung, Diagnose und Prävention von Krebs befasst. Ein Mediziner, der Onkologie praktiziert, ist ein Onkologe. Das Wort „onco“ bedeutet „Masse“, „Masse“ oder „Tumor“, während „-logy“ „Studie“ bedeutet.

Unter parenteraler Ernährung versteht man die Ernährung intravenös (durch eine Vene). „Parenteral“ bedeutet „außerhalb des Verdauungstrakts“. Während die enterale Ernährung über einen Schlauch in Ihren Magen oder Dünndarm gelangt, umgeht die parenterale Ernährung Ihr gesamtes Verdauungssystem, vom Mund bis zum Anus.

Pflegedienst für parenteraler Ernährung

Bei Krebspatienten ist die parenterale Ernährung vor allem dann als spezifische Ernährungsunterstützungsmodalität indiziert, wenn die Nutzung des Magen-Darm-Trakts nicht möglich ist und/oder orale und/oder enterale Ernährung nicht ausreichend oder möglich ist13–15,18: A. Weil der Zugang zum Magen-Darm-Trakt nicht möglich ist kontraindiziert. In einigen Fällen benötigen Personen, die sich einer Krebsbehandlung unterziehen, eine vollständige parenterale Ernährung, um ihren Ernährungsbedarf zu decken.

Krebs ist schwer zu behandeln, aber die Onkologie spielt bei der Behandlung die wichtigste Rolle. Onkologen auf der ganzen Welt nehmen sich die Zeit, sich mit Krebs zu befassen, sich weiterzubilden und etwas über Krebs zu lernen, damit sie Patienten mit dieser Krankheit die bestmögliche Versorgung bieten können. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass eine Subspezialisierung auf viele Krankheitsarten und Behandlungen in der Onkologie zu besseren Ergebnissen für Patienten führt . Daten aus zahlreichen Studien zur Stipendienausbildung in der chirurgischen Onkologie haben verbesserte Ergebnisse in Bezug auf pathologische und klinische Ergebnisse gezeigt.
